Announcing the launch of our VIP program!  

What is the VIP Program?  

VIP stands for Vacation Investment Plan, and it's a win-win situation for all.  You get a unique vacation spot at a guaranteed price, while at the same helping to provide free restorative escapes for cancer survivors and their families.  We get upfront funding to expand our project.  Here's how it works:

Choose from one of two options:  Option 1 - receive two weeks reserved lodging space each year for the next ten years for a one time investment of $10,000.  Option 2 - receive one week for $5,000.  Prices are guaranteed and there are no additional fees.  

The VIP Program is for individuals, families, companies, and supporters of cancer organizations.  Families can pool together and split the cost and time.  Companies can use their investment as an employee incentive, a gift to key clients or suppliers, or as lodging for employees while traveling to Puerto Rico for work purposes.  Donors to cancer organizations may purchase a VIP package and donate it to the charity of their choice for use as a fundraising incentive, leveraging the donation amount.

Restorative Escape for Cancer Survivors and Their Families

What if...

When you were diagnosed, there was a place you could go to forget about cancer, even for a little while?

What if...

After finishing treatments, there was space and time available to you outside of a clinical setting, a place to rediscover what life is about and reconnect with your loved ones, and yourself...a restorative escape from the world of cancer?

There is such a place.

Many people fighting cancer, as well as their family members and caregivers, experience mental distress both during and after diagnosis and treatment.  It's a time of great uncertainty, when everything in life has suddenly changed.  

We're building a place to provide these "restorative escapes" for cancer patients and their families.  

We are currently giving free, one week stays to cancer survivors at our current vacation cabin in Maricao, Puerto Rico.  While we get our nonprofit up and running, we have begun work on our primary goal - to provide space and assistance to cancer patients who are rebuilding their lives.

On this World Cancer Day, we salute those who are currently battling cancer, those who have survived it and put it behind them, and those we have lost to the disease.  You can honor someone whose life has been touched by cancer by making a gift in their name to this project.  Please go to Renewed Hope/Esperanza Renovada to read more about the project and make a donation.

2015 - New Year, New Beginnings...Renewed Hope!

The beginning of a new year is all about hope!  It's a clean slate, a fresh start, a new beginning.  And here at the beginning of 2015, we have some news to share!

Over the holiday break, we became a Wisconsin Corporation!  Our official corporate name is Renewed Hope/Esperanza Renovada Incorporated.  Filing paperwork with the state was the first step toward becoming a 501(c)(3), nonprofit corporation.  Next, we obtained our Federal Employer Identification Number, and now we are working on the by-laws and other paperwork that will be the blueprint for how we operate. 

But we aren't going to wait for all of that to be in place before we begin.  In the next few months, we will be giving the first "restorative escape" to a cancer survivor, at our existing cabin in Maricao, Puerto Rico.  

We'll keep you updated on our progress...stay tuned!  And happy 2015!

It's the Season of Giving--the first day of Hanukkah, just over a week until Christmas.  We are all busy trying to find or make the perfect gifts for our loved ones, preparing for the kids to come home, and anxiously awaiting the annual visit from Santa.  

This holiday season, make a gift to the lodge project at Esperanza Renovada in honor of a loved one, in memory of one who has been lost, or simply because you care. You will be providing hope to cancer survivors, their families, and their caregivers. With your help, we can accomplish the goal of building a place where survivors can experience a free restorative escape after cancer treatment.
